The Stronghold (“Stronghold,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we may collect, use, process, store, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with The Stronghold website, mobile application, social network, memberships, coaching, communities, programs, events, retreats, communications, and any and all current or future products, features, technologies, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
Stronghold is operated from and based in Arizona, United States. Our practices may vary depending upon the Services and features you use, your choices, permissions, location, and applicable law.
1. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
Depending upon your use of the Services, we may collect:
Account & Profile Information: Name, username, email address, telephone number, profile photo, biography, interests, account credentials, age or date of birth where appropriate, and other information you provide.
Social & Community Information: Posts, comments, reactions, connections, groups, photographs, videos, messages, communications, and other user-generated content or interactions.
Coaching & Program Information: Information you voluntarily provide through coaching, questionnaires, forms, programs, events, retreats, support requests, or communications.
Transaction Information: Memberships, subscriptions, purchases, bookings, payment status, refunds, and transaction history. Payment credentials may be processed by app stores or third-party payment processors rather than directly stored by Stronghold.
Device, Technical & Usage Information: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, device or account identifiers, app activity, interactions, features accessed, crash information, diagnostics, cookies, SDK information, and similar technical or usage information.
Location Information: We may process approximate location derived from IP address and, if a feature requires it and appropriate permission is obtained, more precise device location.
Device Permissions: Certain features may request access to your camera, photographs, microphone, notifications, contacts, location, or similar device functionality. Such access is subject to your permissions and applicable law.
Communications: Information contained in emails, messages, customer-support requests, inquiries, feedback, and other communications.
Other Information: Any other information you voluntarily provide through the Services.
2. HOW WE MAY USE INFORMATION
We may use information as reasonably necessary to operate, administer, secure, personalize, develop, and improve the Services, including to:

3. SOCIAL NETWORK & USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Stronghold is a social and community platform. The Services may permit users to create profiles, follow or connect with others, join groups, create posts, upload photographs or videos, comment, react, message, attend events, and otherwise communicate or interact.
Information you choose to make available through social features may be visible to other users depending upon the feature and applicable privacy settings.
Information shared with another person may be copied, saved, photographed, recorded, redistributed, or otherwise used by that individual outside Stronghold's control. Users should not disclose information to other users that they do not want those individuals to possess.
Stronghold may review, moderate, restrict, preserve, hide, remove, or disclose user content where reasonably necessary to operate or protect the Services, enforce our Terms or Community Guidelines, investigate complaints or misconduct, protect Stronghold or others, or comply with applicable law.
4. MESSAGES & MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS
Where Stronghold provides direct messages, group messages, comments, or other communication features, communications may be transmitted, processed, and stored as necessary to provide those Services.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stronghold may access, preserve, or review communications when reasonably necessary for moderation, safety, technical support, investigation of reported misconduct, fraud prevention, enforcement of agreements, protection of users, or legal compliance.
Communications through Stronghold should not be assumed to constitute legally privileged or professionally confidential communications.
5. COACHING & SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Users may voluntarily disclose personal or sensitive information through coaching, programs, messages, forms, events, retreats, or community interactions.
Stronghold endeavors to handle information provided directly to us with reasonable care and discretion. However, Stronghold provides coaching and personal-development services and is not acting as a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, therapist, counselor, or other licensed healthcare provider.
Information shared with Stronghold is not represented as protected by physician-patient, psychotherapist-patient, attorney-client, or similar professional privilege.
Users should exercise particular discretion when sharing sensitive information with other members or in group environments.
6. AI, AUTOMATION & FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES
Stronghold may now or in the future provide artificial intelligence, automated systems, personalization, recommendations, search, moderation, chat, content generation, or other technology-assisted features.
Information submitted to or generated through such features may be processed by Stronghold or applicable technology providers as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, personalize, or improve those features, subject to applicable law.
Where additional notice, permission, or consent is required by applicable law or platform requirements, it will be provided.
7. HOW WE MAY DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary to:
Service Providers: Providers of hosting, cloud infrastructure, payments, communications, analytics, scheduling, customer management, security, moderation, AI, customer support, marketing, advertising, or other services.
Other Users: When you choose to make information available through profiles, posts, groups, messages, events, or other social features.
Business & Event Partners: Contractors, venues, instructors, transportation providers, event providers, or other partners where reasonably necessary to provide requested Services.
Legal, Safety & Business Purposes: Courts, governmental authorities, law enforcement, attorneys, insurers, payment providers, investigators, professional advisers, or other appropriate parties where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misconduct or fraud, enforce agreements, or respond to legal claims.
Business Transactions: Actual or prospective purchasers, investors, lenders, advisers, successors, or other appropriate parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, bankruptcy, or other business transaction.
At Your Direction or With Your Consent: Parties you authorize us to disclose information to.
We may also use or disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information where permitted by law.
We do not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration. If future practices constitute a regulated “sale,” “sharing,” targeted advertising, or similar activity, Stronghold will provide notices, permissions, and choices required by applicable law.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Stronghold may use third-party platforms and providers, including application hosting providers, app stores, payment processors, analytics services, communication platforms, scheduling systems, social integrations, AI providers, advertising technologies, videoconferencing providers, and other vendors.
Service providers may process information on our behalf. Other third-party services may operate independently pursuant to their own terms and privacy policies.
Stronghold is not responsible for independent privacy practices of third-party services we do not control.
9. COOKIES, SDKs, ANALYTICS & ADVERTISING
Stronghold and its providers may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies for functionality, authentication, security, preferences, analytics, performance, communications, and, where permitted, marketing or advertising.
The technologies and providers used may change as the Services develop.
Where applicable law or platform requirements require notice, consent, device permission, or an opt-out mechanism, Stronghold will provide the applicable choice.
Where platform rules characterize a particular practice as tracking, Stronghold will obtain any platform permission required for such tracking.
10. DATA SECURITY
Stronghold uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.
However, no application, website, network, transmission, electronic communication, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Accordingly, Stronghold cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, and account credentials and should promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized account access.
If a data breach occurs, Stronghold will investigate and provide notifications to affected individuals, governmental authorities, or other parties where required by applicable law.
11. DATA RETENTION
Stronghold may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, maintain accounts and transactions, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, defend legal claims, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, insurance, or legitimate business requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending upon the information, purpose, applicable law, and operational requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal obligations.
12. ACCOUNT & DATA DELETION
Users may request deletion of their Stronghold account and associated personal information through account-deletion functionality provided within the Services or through the external account-deletion or privacy-request method identified on our website.
Upon a valid deletion request, Stronghold will delete or de-identify applicable personal information and associated user-generated content as required by applicable law and applicable platform requirements.
Certain information may be retained where permitted or required for financial and transaction records, tax or accounting obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, legal claims, regulatory compliance, or other lawful purposes.
Information independently copied, shared, or retained by other users or third parties may remain outside our reasonable control.
13. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending upon your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
These may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information; obtain information regarding our collection, use, processing, or disclosure; withdraw consent where applicable; or opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, profiling, or other processing.
The availability and scope of these rights vary by jurisdiction and may depend upon whether applicable statutory requirements or thresholds apply to Stronghold.
Stronghold will honor any and all privacy rights required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against individuals for exercising those rights.
We may take reasonable steps to verify identity or authority before processing a request and may deny, limit, or retain information where permitted or required by law.
Nothing in this Policy waives, restricts, or limits any consumer or privacy right that cannot lawfully be waived, restricted, or limited.
14. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), to the extent the CCPA applies to Stronghold or the applicable processing.
Depending upon applicable law and circumstances, these rights may include rights to:

Such information may be used and disclosed for purposes described in this Policy, including providing and improving Services, operating social-networking features, processing transactions, maintaining security, preventing fraud and abuse, providing support, conducting analytics, communicating with users, marketing where permitted, and complying with legal obligations.
Stronghold does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration. If Stronghold's practices constitute “selling” or “sharing” under applicable California law, Stronghold will provide any and all legally required notices, opt-out mechanisms, preference-signal recognition, and other applicable rights.
The applicability of particular California requirements depends upon applicable law, statutory thresholds, exemptions, and the circumstances of the processing. Nothing in this section represents that Stronghold is subject to a particular California statute where that statute does not legally apply.
Where applicable, California residents may submit privacy requests using the privacy contact method described below.
15. COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING
Stronghold may send communications concerning accounts, memberships, purchases, subscriptions, security, events, programs, features, or Services.
Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional communications. Users may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided.
Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent necessary transactional, account, security, legal, or service-related communications.
Text messaging, push notifications, and similar communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
16. CHILDREN & MINORS
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular Service, Stronghold Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through adult-only Services in violation of applicable law. If we learn that information has been improperly collected from a child, we may take appropriate steps to delete the information and associated account.
If Stronghold later offers Services specifically intended for minors, additional age-verification, parental-consent, safety, privacy, or other protections may apply.
17. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Stronghold is operated from the United States and based in Arizona. Information may be processed or stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Where applicable law requires safeguards concerning international transfers or processing of personal information, Stronghold will implement measures required by applicable law.
18. BUSINESS TRANSFERS
If Stronghold or any portion of its business or assets is sold, merged, financed, acquired, reorganized, transferred, or otherwise involved in a corporate transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction as permitted by applicable law.
19. CHANGES, EXPANSION & FUTURE SERVICES
Stronghold may add, remove, modify, or expand its Services, social features, technologies, integrations, providers, programs, and business operations over time.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect such changes. The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version.
Where a change materially affects how personal information is processed, Stronghold will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law or platform requirements.
Nothing in this Policy authorizes Stronghold to process personal information in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
20. APP STORES & PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS
Distribution or use of Stronghold through Apple, Google, or other platforms may be subject to additional privacy disclosures, permissions, controls, and platform requirements.
Stronghold will endeavor to maintain applicable app-store privacy and data disclosures consistent with the actual operation of the Services.
Platform-level privacy permissions and controls may supplement this Privacy Policy.
21. ARIZONA BUSINESS & APPLICABLE LAW
Stronghold is operated from and based in the State of Arizona.
Stronghold will comply with applicable privacy, data-security, breach-notification, consumer-protection, and other legal requirements according to the jurisdictions and circumstances in which those requirements lawfully apply.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to deprive any person of a non-waivable right or protection provided by applicable law.
22. LIMITATIONS OF THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy describes Stronghold's privacy practices and commitments. Except where expressly stated or required by applicable law, it is not intended to create contractual or other legal rights beyond those provided by applicable law.
Nothing herein excludes, restricts, or limits any responsibility, obligation, consumer right, or privacy right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited.
23. CONTACT & PRIVACY REQUESTS
Questions, concerns, privacy requests, and account or data-deletion requests may be submitted through the contact or privacy-request method provided within the Stronghold application or on the Stronghold website.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity or authority before fulfilling certain requests.
Stronghold will respond to valid requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
24. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Stronghold reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, practices, business operations, or legal requirements.
Material changes will be communicated, and additional consent will be obtained, where required by applicable law or platform requirements.
25. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By accessing or using Stronghold, you acknowledge that you have been provided access to this Privacy Policy and understand the privacy practices described herein.
Where applicable law or platform requirements require affirmative consent for a particular collection, use, disclosure, permission, or processing activity, Stronghold will obtain such consent separately.
